Brad Riddell

Will you fight your friend and training partner? Will you fight your countryman? Will you fight a family member? These are some of the questions journalists regularly as fighters especially when their friends have a similar path. This is the case in the UFC Vegas 44 co-main event. Brad Riddell and Rafael Fiziev will be facing off in the Octagon but they both expected it.

While speaking to media outlets during Wednesday’s media day, Riddell said he expected a matchup opposite Fiziev. He said, “Obviously we both had the intention of getting to the top five, so we thought that we’d bump into each other may be in the top five a bit later or something like that.”
